Ireland - Donegal to Derry

The Inishowen scenic drive took us back to Carndonagh again. These Crosses are dated around the 7th century. The high one is the St Patrick's Cross with a carving of Christ on one side and an interlaced pattern on the other. Carndonagh was one of the main centres for the early church in County Donegal.
